The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is one of the 21 regional centers in the State of California which together serve more than 269,000 individuals with, or at risk for, developmental disabilities, and their families.
Established in 1976, Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is a private, non-profit corporation under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services. It works in partnership with many individuals and other agencies to plan and coordinate services and supports for people with developmental disabilities. A community-based Board of Directors – which includes individuals with developmental disabilities, family members and community leaders – provides guidance and leadership.
All clients at The Arc of Alameda County are first clients of the Regional Center of the East Bay.
