The Tri Valley LifeLinks-Golf program at Las Positas Golf Course was featured on KCBS NewsRadio (106.9FM/740AM) on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.
Two versions of the story, done by veteran KCBS reporter Mike Colgan, alternated between 5 a.m. and noon. We thought you’d like to hear the reports if you didn’t catch them on air.

A group of six clients from our Livermore facility meets at the Las Positas Golf Course on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until noon. Mostly we practice at the driving range and on the Chipping/Putting practice greens, but every now and then we get to play a hole or two. Other clients in the program are Charles, Terry, Brenda and Tony.
A big shoutout to Las Positas Golf Course and Golf Pro Jeff DeBenedetti for making room for us and making us feel welcome!
The Arc also has a LifeLinks program at Monarch Bay Golf Course in San Leandro. That program is the flagship program that got the (golf) ball rolling as far as golf instruction is concerned. Golf is fun but also helps clients develop hand-eye coordination, improve balance and get exercise.
